This is the end of the greatest time to be a car enthusiast. This is it. I suggest if you ever want a specific car you should work towards that goal now. And, yes, my car is a manual.
Yet your shed has a 15 year old corvette, what looks to be a 20 year old mustang, and a near new massive oversized Ute. What did you expect the market to do? No one's buying new manual sports cars INCLUDING you, and everyone's buying new Utes and SUVs, INCLUDING you! Why woould they continue to make v8 manual cars?
Just bought a 2021 dodge challenger rt 6 speed with 8k miles on it tons of mods and I love it! Itโs sad that people donโt realize what there missing on. Iโd rather be the slower guy with the full experience of driving a car than just stepping on a peddle! Long live the manual transmission!!!
I think you nailed it when you said โEnthusiastโโฆstick cars will continue to appeal to those who want to feel connected to their carsโฆand the prices for performance stick cars will go up. Unfortunately traffic congestion has taken the fun out of rowing your own gears in a daily commuter and letโs face it automatics have progressed to the point where they can out perform a manual.
The mustang is simply just too expensive having standard dual digital screen and all the drivers tech built in. Make cars bare bones and cheap and they would fly off the lots
a couple things to think about that awnser your questions. the mustang has always been a affordable v8 muscle car especially the base and gt. but now the price is so far away for the normal person that used just makes more sense ๐คท. also with the economy as it has been most people are in one of 2 positions….. broke due to bad decisions and are already struggling to pay for a car from 3 years ago or saving and planning ahead due to the uncertainty of the foolish leadership of the country slowly driving the economy down. but im sure they will take advantage of the situation to say we don't need muscle cars anymore. ๐ข
During the pandemic I got mine: a 96 LT4 Corvette coupe. It's polo green and only 50k on the clock.
Not fast by today's standards but she makes all the V8 rumbles. Plus I put a short throw on the ZF 6 speed. Hope to always keep it….unless I can someday afford a Z06 w that LS7 like yours. ๐
I WILL 3D print an entire car with V8 engine….
Do not test me!
I'm a manual enthusiast
WHAT ABOUT THE CAMERO
I'm looking to buy a blackwing myself… for the express purpose of the amazing engineering and the manual transmission
The new Mustang is terrible! Love the BW, but itโs so damn big. Love my CT4v bw but I wish it had a V8. Might trade it for a GT350

What's going to happen? Well that's an easy answer. Your Z06 and Cobra will rise in value.
My foxbody will continue to go up in value
Yeah man I agree with you 100% manual V8 is the best doesn't BMW still have one
Luv my C6 Z06 manual, so fun to drive, hope it never dies!
Just like everything, after the 80s and 90s everything started going downhill, music? Movies? Cars? Bike? Well built anything?
Props to Ford for keeping the Mustang going..

Good riddance lmao. Cruststang is barely holding on, it's time to let go and embrace the future.
If I had to choose one V8โs over manuals
What about V8's in general

So glad i already have my v8 s5 in manual sitting in the driveway. It'll be worth a chunk one day
The mustang darkhorse is so so dope
The camaro will come back. Either that or Pontiac will come back just give them a few years๐
I know the mustang was but I def didnโt expect the black wing
Porsche still makes manuals
Picked up a used 2024 Mustang GT manual in November to support the cause, love the channel Jakub.
At least you stand a chance of having a COUNTRY in the next few years. Your crackhead neighbors south of the border, maybe not so lucky.

Makes me feel optimistic that my c6 grand sport manual will actually be worth much more in the future. RIP fun to drive simple v8 manual cars
The usdm is cooked๐ข
I mean the new m3 is a solid choice
Hughie ooyy oy oy
Oh im sure when they lose a bunch of money by not making manual vehicles they will start making them manual again.
Need a manual F-150 single cab shortbox 5.0 4×4

Sad days indeed. I roll a Toyota 86 for the manual/RWD feel. I'll be slapping an LS in it someday when the engine goes. Lol.
