Liv have launched the latest version of its dedicated womens aero road bike, the EnviLIv.
Liv is Giant bikes sister brand and are the only comprehensive cycling brand in the world dedicated solely to creating products for women.
The EnviLiv is Giant’s sister bike to the Propel released in the last quarter of 2022.
The 2023 Liv EnviLil is claimed to be more aerodynamic, lighter, stiffer and more compliant ( comfortable ) than its predecessor, the 2019 Liv EnviLiv.
Giant also say that the new frame uses the latest AeroSystem Shaping Technology; every tube shape and angle has been optimised for minimal drag and lighter weight.
Their new OverDrive Aero D-shaped fork steerer tube and corresponding spacers provide an extremely aerodynamic system of internally routed brake and derailleur cables that is easier to service.
As an added nice touch, every frame size is equipped with two aerodynamic water bottle cages that have been specifically designed to integrate with the frame tube shapes.
Top spec models are coming in under 7kg, which makes it one of the lightest aero bikes on the market.
To deliver the ideal geometry for most women, every size of the EnviLiv Range is custom-designed using only women’s body dimension data and riding experience.
Liv’s engineers worked closely with Liv Racing triathlete Lisa Tertsch on wind tunnel and prototype testing, and additionally, collected feedback from Liv Racing TeqFind and Team Jayco AlUla riders.
