We’ve reached December and that’s the news done for the year… or is it? We have 2025 to look forward to and the first car launch invites have been sent out. 2025 is shaping up to be yet another big year in terms of new model introductions for our market.

In this video, David Taylor shares news of two new brands joining the South African car industry as well as highlights of which new cars you can expect in your local showrooms. Of course, he’d like to tell you about each and every one, but no-one has time for a 30 minute video.

  1. I wonder who’s going to buy all these expensive-for-nothing German cars. We want more Chinese variants, sedans, hatchbacks, etc. take away all these stupid German brands 📌‼️

  2. Make sure that all business trading within the Motor Industry is registered toe Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa it legislative since 2014.

  3. And why does Honda continue to do nothing to grow its sales in SA when there are such magnificent cars like the Acura and Pilot overseas. It seems to me we are the dumping ground for all the sub- par cars when the rest of the world gets all the great cars. Honda had better catch a wake up soon or they will go the way of Daihatsu and MG and many other brands that closed shop in SA

  4. Stoppit!! Try being honest regarding these new cars with same size engines and then trashed with CVT gearboxes. How do you sit there with a straight face just reading off parrot fashion, knowing, if one has car engineering knowledge, just how reliability is being set up for failure at buyer’s expense. Heaps of cars doesn’t make it good. Quality over quantity. We all know of revaluing of financial system coming and these cars manufacturers are solely focused on emotional buying and all their dollar signs flashing. Headless chickens comes to mind, I sincerely hope the people see the plot against them by acknowledging the economic of truth by all those being payed as a business. People in time, never forget who pushed what narratives I
Or which pushed which vehicles when you start experiencing the decline through your very own pocket. Leopards never change spots
