  1. I’ve test drove several new cars in the last couple years because I’m getting ready to need a new vehicle in the near future and honestly I haven’t liked the way any of the newer models drove, It seems like the older models drove better and were just overall built better.

  2. Not only that, but cars are becoming soulless homogenized corpo mobiles for the proletarians, they all look like zero passion AI generated designs, nothing exiting to see on the road, no variety no rawness

  3. Gotta' agree with ya' on the. Frontier…got two of 'em…2022 & 2023. Thousands less than Toyota…so far problem free. One is a SV Crew cab, the other a SV Extended cab.

  4. True enough on not passing on any of the cost savings to the consumer. The consumer, though, does have choices and if sales slow too much, the material quality/durability might be stepped up.

  5. Dealers aren't really profiting off cars like they used to, right? Hence all these forced add-ons, 3rd party extended warranties, etc. Oh… and if you finance through them they tack on additional percentage in interest to continue profiting.

  6. I refuse to buy a new vehicle even a Silverado for a Chevy Tahoe or a Lincoln Navigator period in Lincoln Navigator I wouldn't even buy that pile of garbage cuz it doesn't even have a V8 anymore.

But more importantly what these vehicles have in common is the fact they have no front end protection anymore let alone rear end or side protection. There's nothing but plastic and fragile aluminum. I could take my 89 Silverado and hit something and it's barely going to put a dent in the front end. They were built with quality. I would not have one of these new plastic aluminum garbage vehicles. And this will be the last Toyota Corolla I ever buy. I bought a 22 Corolla and it's made out of nothing but plastic and fragile aluminum. I had a person brush me barely and they cost $3,200 worth of damage to my front end. It's just unacceptable.
This would not even have been a thing on my 89 Silverado

  7. A surprise has been the quality and reliability of the palisade and telluride. They are more reliable than Toyota and Honda not to mention standard comes with amazing tech inside.
