My name is Brandon and I am a used car dealer. I created Car Questions Answered to share the ins and outs of the used car market from my perspective. I share with you updates on car prices, what’s happening at the dealer auctions, and what it’s like being a dealer. My goal is to share information to help you make the best decisions while buying a car to save you money. I do not want car dealers taking advantage of you.

  1. Engines don’t last, transmissions are failing way too early. Not just RAM. All truck makers. Poor materials, very poor metallurgy, parts are hardened and tempered improperly, wrong sized bearings, blocks not cleaned and debrided properly, oil pumps failing due to extraordinarily poor design and too much plastic being used, seals failing due to the invasion of Chinesium junk.

We can’t build a dang simple truck that lasts long enough to pay for itself.

It’s just a very sad joke now.

  2. Vehicles and depreciating assets not investments unless they're collectors cars. Truth is that there's a crash coming in the vehicle market. People are having a hard time just surviving these days. I guarantee more than half the people who bought a new vehicle in the last few years, wish they hadn't. Bankruptcies and vehicle repos are through the roof yet dealerships of every make are still trying to gouge the consumer. This house of cards is going to come crashing down….hard. just wait

  3. the money you say is going to come from stellantis ultimately comes out of the pocket of the consumer as you start to address at 5:30. When will people wake up and realize steep discounts and rebates = erosion of future value? Why does this line of vehicles (Chrysler) consistently find itself at the wrong end of the economy?

  4. I am not trying to shit on what you are saying. I was in up state NY last week and looked in the area pretty heavily. I was in the Saratoga springs area. I did not see price difference very high.

  5. I can say that NY will NEVER lower their prices at any Dealer ship. You want a truck that will run and not break down buy a 70's-90's truck. No BS and no crappie electronics that always breaks. I agree with one post! You purchase for 10 Years but it won't last 10 years. NY Dealers are money nothing but Money Greed… I will never buy new again nor my kids.

  6. Dealerships got greedy when inflation hit and people got desperate. Now they are paying the piper and deserve it. With stand still wages and nobody making more money, losing their jobs, what did they expect? You couldn't pay me to take a NEW vehicle, it's a scam. Look at how many people are delinquent on their car loans

  7. probably because all the electronics stop working after 6 months!!! i know of at least 10 different people with a intermittent "blind spot unavailable service required" error that shuts down all CAN lines meaning windows, HVAC, power step, infotainment, digital dash will stop working randomly and it has been going on since 2019 on all ram variants.
