Buying New
I'm still waiting on what I'm supposed to be ready for? All this conjecture from so many car-buying youtube channels. The consumer wants to know how to get the price on a new or used vehicle and what incentives are out there. That's all.
8:30 I have experienced this. And not this year; back in DEC '22 I was looking to buy the old-fashioned way. I left two dealerships that ignored me in the lot before I rolled into third one where I found a guy tryna sell me a three-year old Rav4 for the same price as the new Rogue I eventually bought from the kid they pawned me off on at the fourth dealership.
Keep your car do a maintenance regularly and avoid buying cars the new inventory was made to buy cars every 3 years since cars engines dont last long anymore
good dealers don't have a lot full of 300 day old inventory
I honest to god need a car brother…my baby guys way to many Miles …..va
I'm saving up for a brand new Ram Warlock crew cab. My dad thinks every single brand new vehicle is going to breakdown as soon as it leaves the dealership because of the experience of someone he knows
Used golf carts are not 6 g's. 3-4 for a good one
Lol.😂😂😂😂😂 and you expect to believe me
I tried to buy a Civic Si Jan 25, and every dealer in my state laughed at giving me MSRP. It’s a compact car, with 3k-5k mark up.
So I was 22 when I bought my first car. They saw me coming. They didn’t let me test drive my Corolla, they gave me 29% apr and they just put everything on the menu on my loan without even mentioning it to me. They just had me sign on the line and then made me wait 3 days to pick up my car and didn’t even clean it. I went by myself to buy that car, never again!!!
Lousy echo Mike u havec
With only 10% gross profit between MSRP and invoice price, dealers still cover commissions and massive overhead, and the differences? Setup fees—as if the car arrived as a kit. Delivery fees—have you pay that for a refrigerator or any other appliance? Overpriced accessories you could buy for a fraction of the cost at an auto parts store ETC. The total price of the car may be fair, but the way it’s justified feels like an insult.
Hi Mike, I want to buy a 2025 Toyota Sienna Platinum with a silver interior and beige interior. I live in northern Ohio and none of the 10 dealerships in my area has the van in stock or on allocation. I did a nationwide search and found 4 online the east coast. What’s the best strategy to buy one of these?
Hey Chevy Guy–Car buying is ALWAYS a nightmare.
The Ford dealer I go to has always had someone on the lot that would say Hi, but they are also a family business. This makes a difference I think as they are also a high volume dealer so I think the family aspect matters. But yeah even here forget looking for a reliable 5,000 car
Chevy dude blaming the story of dealerships for what dealers did lol? It was the dealers , not simply the story. The screwings they tried with false price advertising violating my state laws, market adjustments that lasted from covid into 2024 lol. Funny how my experiences with the dealer, have nothing to do with social media, and it is the dealer who needs to own it. Price Gouging! Some good comments in video about which or when dealerships do care.
We are not buying sewing machine engines at inflated prices.
Get a real job.
Absolute nonsense, unsubscribe!!!
Do you think Ford Fusion 2017 Titanium is a great car? Reliable? I got one with 31k miles for 20k in 2023 with full warranty and I still have it. I plan on going until 200-250k miles+ .. I love the car.
Anecdotal for sure, but family members, friends, and mechanics I've known for years all tell me to avoid extended warranties like the plague, and instead just tuck away money monthly for potential repairs down the road. Apparently many garages despise dealing with those companies, have trouble getting paid in a timely fashion, fight over how much they get paid, and many more headaches. Some shops won't even work with them, so if you can be a cash customer, that's more preferable plus you could get a speedier service. Not to mention a lot of the extended warranties can have fine print that excludes many things, so you might not be covered as much as you think.
Regardless, I'd rather save up my own money and potentially use it for repairs as needed rather than pay thousands up front for a potential issue down the road that may or may not happen, might not be covered, and could introduce hassle in finding someone to honor the warranty.
great point about the last few years of sales people being different. in northern Colorado the Lexus and Toyota dealerships are truly awful filled with oddly arrogant salespeople who know little about the vehicles and no idea how to negotiate besides the old-school nonsense that potential buyers quickly dismiss.
Where are there $15K cars?
Also because a lot of people change oil every 7k miles instead of 3.5k miles like ma pa told me.
I bought a new 2024 CAMARO SS 1le. The Chevy dealer couldn't even dismount and mount a tire on that new car. That's when I realized that CHEVROLET or GM is one of the worst auto manufacturers in the world. I got rid of that Camaro quick! Never will buy an American made car or truck again! NEVER!
