  1. Used bike will be very close to a modern Dogma F if you change tires, add 50mm carbon wheels, 11 speed groupset and aero handlebars. All would cost less than half of cost for just a new frame set. Plus the marginal increase in performance is only added at speed over 40+ kph. Save your money and upgrade an old carbon frame with new aero and light weight components to get 99% same performance of a modern Dogma F. If you want to add to your ego spend the extra cash and will last only one year till they release the next model of the frame ๐Ÿ˜‚ newer is not always better for you unless you are a pro racing against others. Hence GCN will never do such a test on their channel. Wonโ€™t be good for them and their sponsors ๐Ÿ˜‚. Old frame new components same power level on same course with same tires. Maybe 1-2 second difference ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. You've attributed much of the time difference on the uphills to be due to lighter weight. But could you tighten the gap with different gearing on the new bike, and by how much would you say?

  3. Try testing the bike on a 1997-99 Shimano105 or Ultegra series on 23mm tires and an aluminum frame. You will be even faster๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿคซ

  4. Today I buy a Scott Addict R1, the same bike of Mark Cavendish, with a Campagnolo Super Record 11 groupset for also 500. I think is a great deal for me but let me now what do you think

  5. Ugly, uncomfortable bike with limited tyre choice and gearing for a few seconds quicker but more desirable brand name versus better looking more versatile bike? Hmm let me see…๐Ÿค” That time difference could have been closer if you took the reflectors and bell off! Anyway, what's the hurry? ๐Ÿคจ

  6. yeah of course go for the used 10 speed over an 8 speed bike. buying an 8 speed rim brake bike new is kinda pointless. buy new bikes for new technology, buy used for older technology.
