  1. Developing a PHEV with minimum 2000 kms of range (full charge + full tank of petrol) with 1.5 litre Atkinson based engine with generator should be the national priority for India. Unfortunately Nithin Gadkarji is confusing all by saying EV/Hydrogen/Flex fuels and not giving clear road map. None of the EV’s will be adopted by majority of people because of frequent changes in battery technology / lack of charging stations / No power in charging stations etc. If Mahindra / Tata and GOI work towards this and develop a contemporary 1.5 Liter Atkinson based engine and develop a highly efficient Motor /Generator which can be mounted in rear wheel. The vehicle architecture should be such that, batteries can be replaceable after 5-6 years depending upon the new technology of batteries available later. We don’t want Sun/Moon/Sky roof – completely useless feature and also we don’t want fancy big display screens – Car should be like cars and not like toys. For developing this technology, if 2000 CRs to 3000 CRs is required, then let GOI contribute and licence the technology. This will lead to huge efficiency gains and huge forex savings. China is racing ahead of all and we Indians are very much satisfied with electric Toys.

  2. TATA did great!
Personally, an Enthusias i would prefer
4WD over AWD with diff lock option ( gives more freedom to the motorheads)

simple analog dash with premium leather (no no to the big tablet screens), prefer physical switches over touch screen,

Rear mounted tyre block( as a cosmetic look)

    Need no ADAS

    Less electronics

    No sunroof

And big no to the headlight and taillamp design. We need simple and elegant Rounded or square headlight.

Peeps who do agree on this add your preferences here.

    Thanks,
    BB

  3. TATA also becoming like HAL. By the time they launch this car, hyndai will sell another million CRETAs. Waste of time waiting for this car. I doubt the pricing also as they will try to absorb the cost of design and development for these long years😢
